Quick Shop

Had the most amazing Sunday and I am so excited to share it with you loves! If you have an affinity for gorgeous artworks, history, and interactive exhibits, you will absolutely adore this Van Gogh Miami Exhibit! I made an aesthetically pleasing reel if you guys want to see more videos and pictures of the tour, check it out and give it some love! Anyways, there were different parts of the exhibit, so I'll go through each of them with you guys and of course share all the amazing pictures! This is going to be one long post!

Getting Your Tickets

Visit the Van Gogh Miami website and click "Purchase Tickets". Choose a date and time slot; adult entry (ages 16+) is $46.99 and child entry (ages 5-15) is $28.99. Student/Senior/Military Timed Entry get a slight discount, make sure you bring your student ID or information that confirms you can get the discount! There are also VIP tickets, that give you extra visiting time and priority with merchandise, and also a Family Pack, that give a discount for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The entire tour takes about an hour.

Before You Enter

As I said before, you get a time slot and must enter at your time given. If you have time to kill before your entrance time, enjoy a snack at the Van Gogh cafe or relax in the hammocks and benches. The greenery is lovely and it makes for amazing photo spots! Once it's your time to enter the exhibit, head to the entrance.

Entrance

The entrance is absolutely perfect for pictures; as you wait in line, take some cute pictures with the sunflowers and lights. Everything is so aesthetic and gorgeous!

Once you are good to go, there will be staff there to check your tickets and allow you to enter. Walk through an LED pathway and take pictures as you walk! Now, lets start the official tour!

History

Through huge light-up passages, you learn about Van Gogh's life: the tragedies, the beauty, the passion. I won't spoil, but the mystery surrounding this great artist comes in the smaller details and it was so interesting to see his progression not only through words, but through art. There are also so many photo spots with the hanging frames!

His Masterpieces

Now onto Van Gogh's masterpieces! With projections all over the walls and floor, Van Gogh's artwork is displayed in jaw-dropping slideshow. It's also super cool as they made different paintings come to life: blinking portraits, life-like sceneries, and moving words. Just sitting on that floor, you are swept away into a different beautiful world. We entered just as Starry Night was being displayed and stayed until we saw it again (this is the longest part of the tour but it is so gorgeous, you probably won't realize when you've seen all the paintings).

Gift Shop

Alas, the exhibit has ended but there's a gift shop to get little souvenirs. From T-shirts, to mini bags, to portraits, to framed paintings, there is so much to choose from.

Heading out, we were greeted by the warm sunshine and our tummies grumbling, time for some lunch! We ate at the Tacology in Brickell (was yummy but a bit overpriced with the portions you get). Definitely recommend you guys get the Duck Tacos!

And that's the end of this Sunday adventure. It was so much fun and these photos are just so pretty! Would definitely recommend if you guys were in the area! What painter would you lovelies want to learn about?

Much Love,

Lauren
